Concert Tracking App FAQ

General Questions

What is Concerts Remembered mobile app?

Concerts Remembered mobile app is a concert tracking app that helps you document and preserve memories from live music events. From basic details to photos, ratings, and setlists, you can capture as much or as little as you want about each show you attend.

Adding Concerts

What's the difference between Quick Save and Enhanced Memory?

Quick Save: Perfect for quickly logging basic concert details (artist, venue, date, location). Great when you're adding multiple past concerts and can't remember all the details. You can always enhance them later.

Enhanced Memory: Allows you to add the full experience—photos, ratings, setlist, personal memories, who you went with, and more. Choose this when you want to capture the complete story of your concert.

Can I edit a concert after saving it?

Yes! Tap any concert card to view details, then tap "Edit Memory" at the bottom or the edit icon in the header. You can modify any information at any time.

How many photos can I add per concert?

You can add up to 10 photos per concert. Each photo can be up to 15MB and 6000px maximum dimension. Photos are automatically optimized for fast loading.

What is a concert color?

Concert colors are used as a highlight color in your concert listing and serve as a background color if you haven't uploaded any photos. Each concert can have its own unique accent color to help it stand out visually.

Upcoming Concerts

Can I track upcoming concerts?

Yes! When adding a concert with a future date, it goes to your "Up Next" tab. You'll see a countdown to the show. Once the date passes, it automatically moves to your Memories tab where you can add photos, ratings, and other details.

Why are some editing options locked for upcoming concerts?

For upcoming concerts, you can only edit basic details (artist, venue, date, location). Photos, ratings, memories, experiences, and setlists are locked until after the concert date passes—since those are things you capture at or after the show.

Experiences

What are Experiences?

Experiences are special moments you can tag for each concert, like "Made it to the front row," "Lost my voice from singing," "Made it backstage," or "Concert road trip." Some experiences even unlock badges when you tag them!

Photos

How do I set a featured photo?

In the photo manager, tap the photo you want featured, then tap Save. The featured photo appears on your concert card and as the header background in the detail view.

Can I delete photos after uploading?

Yes! Go to the concert detail page, tap the menu, select Edit, then go to the photo module and tap Delete next to the image you want to remove.

Does the app support video?

Not at this time. We're focusing on photos to keep the app fast and your memories easy to browse. If you'd like video support, please submit a feature request.

Insights Dashboard

When are Insights available?

The Insights Dashboard becomes available once you've logged 4 or more concerts. This ensures the statistics and trends shown are meaningful and accurate.

What is "Concert Identity"?

Your Concert Identity tells you whether you're a "Loyalist" (you frequently see the same artists multiple times) or an "Explorer" (you prefer discovering new artists at each show). This is calculated based on your concert history patterns.

Badges & Highlights

What are Badges?

Badges are achievements you earn as you log concerts and add details. They're organized into categories: Milestones (based on number of shows), Artist Loyalty (seeing the same artist multiple times), Experiences (special moments like front row or backstage), Your Journey (venues explored), and Memory Keeper (for thoroughly documenting your concerts).

How do I earn Badges?

Badges are earned automatically based on your concert history. Some are based on hitting milestones (like logging your 10th show), some are earned by adding specific experiences to your entries, and others reward you for adding rich details like photos, setlists, and memories.

What is the "Up Next" section in Highlights?

The "Up Next" section shows badges you're close to earning. It displays your progress toward each badge so you know what to work toward next.

Where can I see my Badges?

Go to the Insights tab and tap "Highlights" at the top. You'll see all your earned badges, badges you're working toward, and your overall progress.

Search & Organization

How do I search my concerts?

Use the search bar at the top of the Home screen to find concerts by artist name, venue, or song title.

How do I filter and sort my concerts?

Tap the filter icon on the Home screen to access filtering options. You can filter by date range, find incomplete entries (concerts missing photos, ratings, etc.), and sort by newest, oldest, or highest rated.

Ratings & Reviews

What rating categories are available?

You can rate each concert on Overall Experience (required for the rating system), Audience Energy, Costumes & Fashion, Stage Visuals, Sound Quality, Stage Presence, and Choreography. All ratings use a 5-star system with half-star precision. You can skip any category you don't want to rate.

Setlists

How do I add a setlist?

When creating or editing a concert, tap the Setlist section. You can manually type in songs one by one. Mark your favorite songs by tapping the star icon next to each song. Sort the setlist by tapping the up/down arrows, then tap Save.

Sharing

How do I create a shareable concert card?

From any concert detail page, tap Share to open the Card Creator. You can customize the style (Acoustic, Studio, Gig, Encore), choose a background (your photo, a solid color, or mood gradients), and adjust the aspect ratio (Feed, Story, or Square). When you're done, save to your photo library or share directly.

What's the difference between Clean and Story cards?

Clean cards show just the concert details (artist, venue, date). Story cards add your personal touch—your rating and quote of the show. Story mode is only available if you've added a rating or quote to your concert.

Does the app remember my card preferences?

Yes! The app remembers your last used style, background type, and other settings so you can quickly create cards with your preferred look.

Data & Privacy

Can I export my concert data?

Yes! Go to Settings > Data Management > Export to download your concert data.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Data Management > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Can I delete just my concert data without deleting my account?

Yes! Go to Settings > Data Management > Delete Data. This clears all your concerts while keeping your account active so you can start fresh.
