About Us
Every concert tells a story. At Concerts Remembered, we believe these stories deserve to be preserved in all their electrifying detail.
Growing up in the Bay Area during the golden age of alternative rock shaped my life through music. The 90s were an incredible time to be a music fan—I witnessed legendary shows at iconic venues, from Pink Floyd in Oakland to the raw energy of the Beastie Boys, the cultural phenomenon of Lollapalooza to the transformative experience of Grateful Dead concerts at Shoreline Amphitheater.
And then there were the "other" shows—you know, the ones that make you question your teenage judgment. Like that time I saw The Bangles at Great America, after a day of roller coasters. Not exactly my proudest rock and roll moment, but hey, it's part of my concert history!
While I still have a few of my ticket stubs from those days (something today's digital tickets can't replicate), I wish I had captured more from the 60+ shows I've seen. What was going through my mind during those Pink Floyd guitar solos? Which Grateful Dead show had that transcendent "Morning Dew"? What did it feel like to be part of those early Lollapalooza crowds watching the Red Hot Chili Peppers as we witnessed music history in the making?
Born in 2023 from this personal desire to preserve concert memories, Concerts Remembered grew from a simple idea into a passion project—a dedicated space I wish I'd had to capture the full spectrum of these life-changing musical experiences.
We know that attending a concert is more than just listening to music. It's about the anticipation building as you walk into the venue, the surge of energy when the first chord strikes, and those indescribable moments that leave you forever changed. It's about the friends you went with, the strangers who became friends during the encore, and the stories you'll tell for years to come. Concerts Remembered was designed to help you document not just what happened, but how it felt to be there.
